Pub Tables & Sets

We bought this table for our kitchen along with 2 modern chairs. We usually keep it at normal table height, but like the idea that we can raise or lower the table as needed. A pro/con is that the table is very difficult to raise/lower, which on one hand is good because it keeps us from accidentally raising or lowering the table while we're eating at it, but on the other hand, only my husband can lower it. I can raise it, but don't have the leverage to push down on it enough to lower it (especially when its at full bar height). Because its such a shiny surface, it picks up grease marks pretty easily. The cleaning instructions say not to use any harsh cleaning products on it. So far I've used mild dish soap/water and clorox green works. Neither of those seem to have hurt the finish. Over all we love the way this table looks and eat at it for breakfast and dinner. It doesn't fit much more than 2 plates and 2 cups, but it works perfectly for us."..."  Read more

The lever raises the table to "pub" height well, but doesn't work as well to lower the table. Otherwise, it's perfect."

The design is simple and sturdy. The only worry with this table is the thin top coat. This table will need to be refinished if it is to handle anything more than light use."
