So this is a round tabletop, yet the edges are very sharp! I suppose this is one way to retrain myself to keep my elbows off the table, but annoying nonetheless. Its a really attractive set, and the faux marble tabletop (while obviously not real marble) looks nice and hides stains. It was super easy to put the table together, but the stools were annoyingly difficult. Im giving it 4 stars for looks and because its exactly what I wanted for my small dining room space, but Id say the cons are that the table edge (if a round table can have edges) is too sharp and the stools are difficult to put together and then seem to need tightening every so often. I would cautiously recommend this set to a friend, but I would warn them of the few negatives first.
