using in small kitchen so glass top is perfect for the space; however, it wasn't clear from the description that one must use "counter height" or 30" seat height stools. I already had bar height or 34" seat height stools. Thankfully, I was able to have the metal chair legs cut. If the table hadn't had a second, lower circular rim of metal about 5" under the metal rim under the glass, the bar height stools would have worked. The description of the product should have stated that counter height or 30" stools are required for the table"..."  Read more

We bought this table for our kitchen along with 2 modern chairs. We usually keep it at normal table height, but like the idea that we can raise or lower the table as needed. A pro/con is that the table is very difficult to raise/lower, which on one hand is good because it keeps us from accidentally raising or lowering the table while we're eating at it, but on the other hand, only my husband can lower it. I can raise it, but don't have the leverage to push down on it enough to lower it (especially when its at full bar height). Because its such a shiny surface, it picks up grease marks pretty easily. The cleaning instructions say not to use any harsh cleaning products on it. So far I've used mild dish soap/water and clorox green works. Neither of those seem to have hurt the finish. Over all we love the way this table looks and eat at it for breakfast and dinner. It doesn't fit much more than 2 plates and 2 cups, but it works perfectly for us."..."  Read more

When I searched for a table on the web site, this table came up under 'round glass tables'. The photo looks like a round table, but I apparently did not read the description closely enough. It says it is a "round bar height" table in the main description, but later describes it as a "round square" table... I'm not sure where the "round" part comes from. It is a SQUARE glass-top table.
