using in small kitchen so glass top is perfect for the space; however, it wasn't clear from the description that one must use "counter height" or 30" seat height stools. I already had bar height or 34" seat height stools. Thankfully, I was able to have the metal chair legs cut. If the table hadn't had a second, lower circular rim of metal about 5" under the metal rim under the glass, the bar height stools would have worked. The description of the product should have stated that counter height or 30" stools are required for the table"..."  Read more

To use my partition/kitchen counter for buffet meals or to lay out snacks and hors'douvres, I must move stools out of the way so folks can get up to the counter. Prior to buying this table, my stools could not be used for eating because the counter is the only height for them. Now, with this table, the stools don't go to waste and this table can be used for extra dining. In between parties, I keep it on the deck with a plant and candle and it looks fantastic. I love the glass top with green sides. This is a beautiful, elegant table, yet it's not delicate or fragile. This table is great for extra dining space; it would also be great, with appropriate stools, for a couple who has limited dining space."..."  Read more

When I searched for a table on the web site, this table came up under 'round glass tables'. The photo looks like a round table, but I apparently did not read the description closely enough. It says it is a "round bar height" table in the main description, but later describes it as a "round square" table... I'm not sure where the "round" part comes from. It is a SQUARE glass-top table. I found this table to be a wonderful value. The price was incredible and the quality much better than expected. I have looked at tables costing hundreds more that didn't compare. We had 2 barstools when we moved into our new home which were too tall for the counter. We also had a breakfast nook which was smaller and needed a table to go with.
