I have always used chief mounts with my projectors, always reliable and the rpa two piece series is just what I need to disconnect the projector without having to pull down the whole mount, you get a lot for your money, I purchased my mount from your site, I was out of town and realized that the projector was going to be arrive by the time I got home but I had already placed the order for the mount but didnt think it would arrive by the time I got home, my wife called your site and they quickly upgraded the shipping and the mount was waiting for me when I arrived home and all was well, they provide excellent communication and service, calling my on my cellphone and emailing me with the status, I encourage anyone looking for a chief mount or any mount to check them out."..." The Infinix SCM Pro is a projector mounting kit that includes everything needed to install and secure your projector in one kit. This is a lightweight mount that rests on top of any 2 foot wide suspended ceiling panel. The sides secure to the ceiling railing and uses four guide cables attached to the building's substructure to hold a projector weighing up to 50 pounds. The projector attachement unit is fully adjustable in all directions for proper screen alignment and leveling. The projector mounting plate can attach using either three or four mounting arms based on the size and weight of your projector. The projector can be easily removed from the mount by releasing four thumbscrews for service or to use elsewhere. Removing and replacing the projector does not modify the mounting bracket alignment settings. The universal mount is not a sleek and clean looking as the RPA mounts that are specific to projector models but we have found that we are replacing projectors and upgrading to new models while the mount is still perfectly fine. By going with the universal mount we don't have to purchase a new mount every time a projector is swapped out.
The configuration options of the universal mount are quite flexible. We have used the mount on various NEC and Epson projectors without any trouble.
Once all the hardware is tightened down the mount is very stiff and stable."..." Read more

Bretford Manufacturing IncBretford Universal Data Projector Mount with Extension Arm

I installed this item in an office suite with a drop down ceiling, hence the use of an additional component - Suspended Ceiling Mount Plate for TPMUNI Models. I selected this product along with the mounting plate because of the Bretford name. I have utilized Bretford's mounts for over 5 years and I trust the quality and design of each piece of equipment they put out with this mount being no exception to that fact. With the suspended ceiling plate necessary for my office's drop down ceiling installation was a little more intensive, but could be easily installed with the proper equipment (a drill and ladder). I ran custom plates for a custom cable setup (utilized a 25 ft VGA cable) to attach to the projector. The plate attachment holes on the ceiling mount did not match the standard cover plate configuration screw holes, so I had to modify a cover plate I got from [...] to attach to the existing 4 holes on the suspended ceiling mount cutouts so that my cover plate could attach. All in all a somewhat time intensive install,but would recommend anyone looking to install a drop down projector mount to consider getting this model. One thing I did notice was the locking mechanism on the universal projector adapter felt somewhat soft and easily unlocked, but it does have exceptional range of rotation and movement with little effort."..."
