Progressive International 6 Cup Microwave Rice Cooker

Saw a review on America's Test Kitchen. They were absolutely correct as to the overall quality and result of the rice cooker. Buy it you will love it.

The description includes specially designed to allow steam to circulate. It lets the steam out. Most rice instructions tell you to not lift the lid because you want to keep the steam in. The water is required to be absorbed by the rice. Since this lets the steam out, you need to put more water into it. I guess if you can figure what will be the right amount to compensate, it will work.
Easy to clean
Veronica from Omaha, Ne
I tried the rice cooker last night for the first time. I burned my first batch. I thought it was going to be difficult to clean and out but it wasn't, the rice came out instantly. I do need directions, so if anyone has them please let me know. My second batch was better but wish i had the directions.
Perfect rice everytime

Really easy, and so long as you follow the directions included in the package, your rice will always be nice and fluffy. I love it!

I'm still experimenting with temperature and time for my particular microwave (I burned the first batch.) Second time was much better but I still might need to adjust. Seems much easier to me than using a stove top pot...
Works Surprisingly Well
Sudzie from Maryland
I have really bad luck with cooking rice. In fact, hubby forbade me to cook any more rice. It always ends up burnt onto my cooktop, because no matter how careful I am, it boils over.
This rice cooker opened my eyes.

Making rice has always been something I have avoided doing. It turned out too soggy or too dry, or not cooked at all. And the messy pan!

My husband loves when I use this because when I make rice on the stove I overtook it (he hates sticky rice).

I used to have one of these years ago. I was happy to find another one. We eat a lot of rice, almost daily, and this little cooker saves me a ton of time and bother. I'm feeding 7 people each meal and this thing makes plenty for all. It really is a great buy.
"Excellent gift for anyone"

Excellent product. Get creative with your rice dishes. Quick and easy to use. Place a paper plate under it while it's cooking. Disregard when complete. Priced excellent. I give it as birthday and Christmas gifts to everyone I know.
