I am new to 3D printing. Once I ordered my printer, I began researching where to put it. That is how I found this 3D Printer Cart by Copernicus Educational Products. It's expensive, considering a simple steel workbench would do, but makes for a great little fabrication lab. This desk is targeted at the education market e.g.schools and libraries, but I've found it to be perfect for the small area I've carved out in my garage. This cart is well built, with a solid steel powder-coated frame and strong plastic tubs for storing all material and tools that you need at hand. The computer tray was a key feature because my printer is "headless", and requires a computer connected via USB. The spool arm is a nice touch, with strong magnets mounted on either side to hold tools. It's also handy for mounting lights. The carts stands on large wheeled castors; convenient if you need to move the printer around (i.e. between school classrooms). I don't need mobility, and am actually concerned with "sway" affecting my prints, so I'm going to replace them with adjustable height leg supports. I actually contacted the company about the specs, which stated the width as 36", and they replied back and have since updated their website with the width including the blue support handle, which brings it to 41". Very helpful, friendly customer service. I found one small manufacturing defect in one of the joints, and will see about having that replaced under the warranty. Overall I'm very pleased with this cart, and have been happily using it as a platform for my lulzbot mini.. Andrew. Oakland, CA. 2018-04-19 03:36:47
