I GET THIS FOR A PAIR OF LOVEBIRDS I HAVE. THEY WERE IN A SMALL CAGE. AND WOULD NOT BREED. PUT THEM IN IN ONE AND THERE MATING AND FLY AROUND ALL DAY. LOVE THIS SO MUCH. AND IS MADE SO NICE. I PUT IT TOGTHER MY SELF AND JUST SAID ONE BAD WORD.

Great Quality for the money

This was a terrific buy, cages this size are in the 400 range. Only 4 stars because there were defects that made putting it together a nuisance. One piece didnt have holes drilled where they should be, that wasnt so bad, but one piece had solder inside the steel leg and it took an hour of hammer and chisel to finally bypass it. Advice DO NOT TRY TO ASSEMBLE BY YOURSELF. This is a two-person job, you will go crazy. Once I did get it assembled, it is a great success. There are lots of doors in perfect places for daily maintenance and feeding. Excellent hardware on doors. Two big front doors (top and bottom) allow for a nice big birdbath dish on the floor every day. The cleaning tray is excellent. The storage shelf is perfect. This is a perfect cage. My Zebra Finches have already laid 2 eggs. They have lots of flying room. Easy to move for vacuum or relocating. The frame is absolutely solid steel, not flimsy at all. A really well-designed product. I love the fact that there is no stupid decoration.

I sure would recommend it. Apart from some minor defects and having to assemble it, its a bargain! Excellent quality, you wont be sorry. Was delivered within a week.

Overall, a really good cage. Offers lots of room for my budgies to fly around. Was pretty easy to assemble, and the tray and grill at the bottom are easy to get to for cleaning. Good value.

Not what you see in the photo

Please be advised that the photo for this product is not what you receive. The product from Prevue does not contain sliding doors but doors on springs which seem EXTREMELY dangerous to birds. The springs themselves jut out at the end which I could see easily poking a bird's eye out. I contacted Wayfair and they sent a replacement cage which was the same thing. I contained Prevue and they said this product has never sold with sliding doors so I don't know where this photo came from. Once again I stress the springs look very dangerous to birds, however with some patience and a needle noose you can remove them from the cages, if you want to go to all that work. I've contacted Prevue previously about some of their toys possibly containing zinc and about their cages. I always get a 'we'll forward your response to our engineering team' message. For a company who claims to be concerned about the safety of our pets they sure don't seem like they ever had any.

Perfect Flight Cage for Zebra Finches
