had a couple of issues with the quality, the retainer hole for one of the screws was not tapped so it could not be assembled, I fixed this myself so no major worries there - also the outward opening spring doors like everyone else notes are a really bad design - birds are not stupid or weak - they can open these, so unless you want to lose your birds clip them closed! Also the springs themselves had sharp protrusions that required bending back to avoid injury, also the welding on the wires also had sharp edges that required filing smooth. In short, cheap and economical but definitely not for novices as it requires handy work to make safe and secure, DO NOT buy unless you can fix minor issues. If you can and accept that you will have to do a bit of work then the cheap cost is definitely worth it.

I purchased this cage for my little parakeet, Brooklyn. She absolutley loves all of the space - she doesn't know what to do with herself! I think the cage is very attractive, I really love the material, it's almost like an "antiqued" metal, very pretty :) It was very easy to put together, it probably only took me about 30 minutes to assemble. There are 8 doors total, 3 small ones on each side & 2 big doors on the front. The side doors are operated by a spring - a little dangerous to take a bird through, but great for changing food and water. The 2 front doors are normal and close with a latch. There is a slide out tray that's very convenient and makes cleaning a breeze. I use a paper bedding (CareFresh), and every week I simply pull out the tray, dump the old bedding, and replace it with new, clean bedding. Overall, this is a great cage. It's a nice size & it looks really great too. And the price is unbeatable! $90 + free 2-day shipping! Awesome! Booklyn is loving her new home :D I would definatley reccomend this product.

This is the second prevue hendryx product we bought. The first one was a play stand and it had a hook broken off of it. The second was this cage and it had a wire bar missing so that in one spot it was over 1" spacing between bars. Other than that, the cage is fine for the money. It is large, does sit low to ground. This is a second cage for us and will be used for quarantining new tiel and then for outdoor use on a covered porch. For a cage that will not be used much it is ok.

I was very impressed with my purchase. We bought two for our parrotlets and they are just as seen in the picture. The cages were very easy to put together. Had a bit of trouble putting the first one together since one of the holes wasn't in the right spot but we fixed it. Once I did the first one with my boyfriend, the second one was a piece of cake. They are so big! My guys got tons of room to fly and play with toys and I get tons of room to work with to set it all up. I love all the doors. There are two big ones in front and eight on the sides. The ones on the sides do have springs on them but I don't see it being a problem since my guys can't push them open. I am going to purchase an exterior water thing since the water beside the food gets pretty dirty fast. Overall I will purchase again.
