This is very nice. We had one for 20 years.

Very nice. Arrived as shown & is very well made. I am happy with my purchase overall. I would recommend to those looking for something similar & want something high quality.

great for a small family the only problem is you have to be careful lowering the food in the fat cause there is no basket

This appliance is not one you're going to use every day but if you are hankering for some home made onion rings or shrimp, this can't be beat. When we cooked fries in it, they seemed too dark to me almost as if the fryer temp was too hot. When they looked a perfect color, they were't really cooked. It could be too that I cut them too thick.

Simple to use, just add oil and enjoy.

I have the expensive fryer with the lifter basket . . .and I don't like it . . .THIS GRANPAPPY is my very favorite fryer! My husband could have saved a lot of $$ if he had just bought it first! I have two fry daddy's and this is my second GranPappy . . .the old one lasted for years!! I will NEVER use another type fryer . . .this is as good as it gets!
Better than the best

I had a fri daddy for years, and it broke. In 2006 I bought expensive dubble frier, every time I used it the house would be full of smoke, and my eyes would burn the rest of the night. So expensive is not always better.
