Elise from Florida	5.0 3/7/2011 An old friend! I tried the newer models with the glass lid and the removable pan. Oh my gosh, what a pain...AND after 3 uses, it broke! No power to the cord. This is an old design of Presto's, and a real workhorse. I hope they always make this model. The finish will wear over time and you'll have to buy a new one, but you'll get several years of use that's well worth the money. Was this helpful? Yes / No
CP from Oklahoma	4.0 11/29/2010 Great Item for Price! I was looking for the largest sized electric skillet with the lowest price. I am impressed with the quality of the skillet and after reading some reviews I was wondering how 'flimsy' this skillet might be. However, I think the bottom of the skillet is nice and thick and compares better than my old one. It also heats up fast and has been excellent to cook with. I selected on the 'cons' that it was difficult to clean, but really, to me all electric skillets are a little difficult to clean. Otherwise I am very satisfied with my purchase. Was this helpful? The extra large skillet space really makes a difference when you're cooking eggs, pancakes, etc. It heats up really fast, has great temperature control, and is a breeze to clean. I started out using just a little olive oil but found out the non-stick surface really is non-stick, so now I rarely use any oil or butter at all and nothing sticks to the pan. Highly recommended!
