I think I will like the glass lid when I start using it more when the weather cools down because I will not have to take the lid off too see how things are going. The LACK of non-stick coating is why I purchased this particular skillet. You just can't make a great steak in a coated skillet. Already have one which is about 25 years old. Purchased this one as a backup and also for when I pan fry chicken for a group. I cannot find anything wrong with this item. I absolutely love it and highly recommend.
