Pressure Washers

The pressure washer works fine in every respect... If the actual pressure washer was manufactured and delivered with the BRASS manifold as shown in the photos I would have given the pressure washer a five star rating. The one I received included the Aluminum pump manifold. I know the specification does not say the pump has a brass manifold but it does not say aluminum either. Just be aware of this before you buy. There is no powder coated skid contrary to the description. There are two plated "z" angles with rubber feet to support the pressure washer. This is not a problem but again, just be aware. The pressure washer is powerful, quiet in operation and very effective. I have had to replace 3 less expensive, "popular" washers because of their limited life span. They were not nearly as effective as this one because, though they may have delivered the claimed pressure, the volume of water was much less. I have used the washer for 8 months on a regular basis, primarily to wash my vehicle. The cart makes it easy to move about and it produces excellent results.I would have given the washer 5 stars except for two complaints: First, it is not possible to start the washer unless the trigger is squeezed. It seems that the motor cannot overcome the back pressure and the bypass valve is not open at start-up. Secondly, it appears that changing the pump oil will be a messy business as the pump, which is quite heavy, will have to be turned upside down. Almost as perfect as I had hoped for. This machine is so well thought out, and it's design is very thoughtful. As sharp and well designed as it is, there are a few finishing touches missing which, if product-tested these things would have been done right and THEN I would have to say it's the most complete and perfect Power-Washer on the market. 1. The hose connection is plastic! That's right, PLASTIC?! ?ARE THEY KIDDING?! Forget how easy it will be to strip it if not careful ... the power washer weighs 100+ pounds - AND IS ON WHEELS! Although there's a 'brake', I'm sure the hose will be used to pull the unit as it's needed to creep along. Certainly not designed-tested before production. 2. The hose reel placement and function is great. It' works well, and is easy to spool the hose back onto the reel with a cleverly designed folding handle. However, once the hose is wound up, there's no place to secure the wand-end. So as you wheel the cart it unravels (fast) and you're constantly drop-dragging the hose. Not good as it's a threaded end and will certainly damage. It completely unravels when transported in a trailer or vehicle. Why they didn't put a clip on the reel is another mystery that wouldn't take place if they product tested it before manufacturing. 3. There are only two heads (or tips) that come with this unit. Cheaper units come with multiple tips. On a good note, the fan tip it does come with is without doubt the finest, most precise, and perfect spray pattern I've EVER seen. If they offer other tips with such perfect machined-quality like this, I'd gladly pay for them ... if they were offered. In review, other than the points listed, which are things I'll make/fabricate solutions for, this is the finest Power Washer I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I went electric as the area it's being used in now has noise code restrictions, and I had reservations about it being as powerful as my gas powered units, but all my concerns are satisfied. This is one incredible unit and it performs outstandingly well. It's rugged, balanced, and easy to manuver. Very happy with this powerful hot washer. Cleans much better than my old cold power washer. Must be careful because you can peal paint if used to close to the surface. Can adjust pressure easily with the wand. Rate it very highly. Could use a hose reel as not to fight that."..."  Read more
