My last pressure washers name also started with a K and was made in Germany, but those are the only 2 things they have in common. The Kranzle is in a league of its own with more power and overall features than the competition. After just a short period of use I realized that Kranzle put a lot of time into the overall ergonomics of the machine as everything is very well thought out. This little unit packs a lot of cleaning power for its compact size and with its quality of construction and robust pump, Im sure to get many years of problem free service from it. There are a lot of similarly sized brands on the market touting the same pressure and g.p.m.ratings, but compare the overall machine weights and its easy to see that Kranzle builds their machines to last. I have lived by the saying Buy the best tools you can afford. If you want a quality designed and built pressure washer that will stand the test of time, buy a Kranzle."..."  Read more

My main use of a pressure washer is to clean small aluminum castings after removal from the molds. I use the machine in a set-up similar to a bead blast cabinet so a compact electric machine is a must. I was using a Karcher washer but it finally got to the point where I literally had to kick it to get the motor to start. Because of my frustrations with that machine's trouble prone pressure controlled on/off feature I wanted a machine with an unloader. I chose the Kranzle K1600 and am very pleased with it. My first impression of the machine was that it is quite heavy for a carry machine. I could have listed this as a "con" but didn't because I didn't feel that would be fair as the weight speaks to the quality of the construction. After setting it up and turning it on I was immediately impressed with how quiet it is. In fact when in the bypass mode it only makes a soft humming sound. Since I use it primarily indoors this is a real plus. Really the only thing I could fault about the washer is the large trigger/wand setup. This would probably not be an issue for most people. It is fine for washing off my garden tractor but it is too cumbersome for cleaning castings. I solved this by purchasing a smaller trigger gun, a short wand and a 6' whip hose. Now I use the smaller setup for cleaning castings and the larger/longer setup for everything else. Because of the large threaded hose attachment it is easy to swap hoses and I don't have to deal with 30' of hose when I don't need it.In summary I am very impressed with this machine and would recommend it to anyone who needs a small, portable electric machine. It may seem pricey when compared the Kartcher and similar machines sold at [...] but you get what you pay for. Almost as perfect as I had hoped for. This machine is so well thought out, and it's design is very thoughtful. As sharp and well designed as it is, there are a few finishing touches missing which, if product-tested these things would have been done right and THEN I would have to say it's the most complete and perfect Power-Washer on the market. 1. The hose connection is plastic! That's right, PLASTIC?! ?ARE THEY KIDDING?! Forget how easy it will be to strip it if not careful ... the power washer weighs 100+ pounds - AND IS ON WHEELS! Although there's a 'brake', I'm sure the hose will be used to pull the unit as it's needed to creep along. Certainly not designed-tested before production. 2. The hose reel placement and function is great. It' works well, and is easy to spool the hose back onto the reel with a cleverly designed folding handle. However, once the hose is wound up, there's no place to secure the wand-end. So as you wheel the cart it unravels (fast) and you're constantly drop-dragging the hose. Not good as it's a threaded end and will certainly damage. It completely unravels when transported in a trailer or vehicle. Why they didn't put a clip on the reel is another mystery that wouldn't take place if they product tested it before manufacturing. 3. There are only two heads (or tips) that come with this unit. Cheaper units come with multiple tips. On a good note, the fan tip it does come with is without doubt the finest, most precise, and perfect spray pattern I've EVER seen. If they offer other tips with such perfect machined-quality like this, I'd gladly pay for them ... if they were offered. In review, other than the points listed, which are things I'll make/fabricate solutions for, this is the finest Power Washer I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I went electric as the area it's being used in now has noise code restrictions, and I had reservations about it being as powerful as my gas powered units, but all my concerns are satisfied. This is one incredible unit and it performs outstandingly well. It's rugged, balanced, and easy to manuver. It's also quiet which is great on the ears and the complaints have stopped."..."  Read more
