When finished it was not as sturdy as it should have been and the drawers do not fit flush with the panels. My grandson & I have assembled a lot of furniture and we both agree this one was difficult. I am glad it didn't cost any more than it did. I would like it better if the platform was a few inches higher and the drawers were deeper, Shipping was very quick and arrived with no damage. The bed wasn't as straight when I put int the drawers. Had to move the bed to straigtened. Wish the frame is more straighter or supported correctly. Otherwise, it is a very nice bed. Product Review The bed took 4 hours to put together (1 adult) and drawers were flimsy until they were in place, then they could be filled and not noticed at that point. Looks nice set up in our daughters room - she is thrilled to have the drawers under her bed and we liked that she doesn't need a boxspring. It really requires two persons and several hours to put together. Power drill with Phillips driver needed because of the number of screws necessary for assembly. Be sure bed is square or draws will not operate or fit correctly. Don't get me wrong the bed looks good once it is assembled. Was this helpful? Yes / No

You do need to buy a spring mattress that is thick because if you put a foam mattress that is thin the head board and foot board stick out and your child might heard him/herself on that. Beware of the edges of the bed, you could shave on them, the laminate makes them very sharp. I slit vinyl tubbing and covered all exposed edges to protect ourselves and child. Was this helpful?
