Great bed for the price.

This bed has nice drawer space, and looks good. I have put many peices of furniture together from different company"s and the directions that came with this bed are by far the easiest to follow. The only drawback is that there should be a solid piece to go on top of the slats, because otherwise the mattress sits directly on the slats and putting a box spring makes it to high. I purshased a 1/2" piece of plywood and that works fine.

I forked out the cash for this bed thinking I was getting a quality item that should last for a while. What arrived was a cheap, flimsy, poorly made bed. The instructions are atrociously vague and hard to follow. They even leave out some steps. And some of the steps are in such bizarre order that unless you switch it up, you're likely going to add frustration to your work. Parts are not labeled or made well, and there are no spare screws or nails, so if one is bent or lost you are out of luck. The wood for the drawers is such poor quality that they often split when you tighten the cams the way you should, and one even arrived broken. The boards for the drawers have an unfinished appearance and feel, and the slants are actually unfinished! I purchased this bed for adult use, though it is clearly marketed for children and adolescents. Had I purchased it for a child, I don't think there is any way it would survive a year of their using it. Overall, it is a regrettable purchase that I will not duplicate again.

This twin bed fit the requirements for my bedroom a. I needed a bed that did not take up too much space and the advantage offered with the six storage drawers.
