good value, but ...
Paul from Sahuarita, AZ
I have had this bed for about 3 years now, and I bought the headboard that "goes with it". For the bed, I added screws through the mattress support boards into the bedframe to add strength and stability. Add a memory foam topper to the mattress and the bed is quite comfortable and a good height to get in and out of. My main complaint with the bed is how sharp the board edges are. The headboard is the same one sold for the FULL version of this bed, and as such is a little narrow for the QUEEN. They are separate pieces and you just butt one against the other as best you can. This looks OK at first glance, but it leaves about a 3/4 gap between the headboard and bed because the headboard supports are not quite wide enough to fit the bed right against the headboard center. It is not until you drop a remote through that 3/4 inch gap that this becomes a big deal. Unless you have 2 people to lift the headboard straight up and a 3rd person to grab the remote, it can be very difficult to retrieve anything dropped through that gap. If not for the gap, I would rate the bed/headboard 4-stars. For the money, it is a good value and has fulfilled exactly what I bought it to do.
Good value, decent product

We bought this bed for our 4 year old to put his queen mattress on. It took about 3 hours to assemble, but was simple enough. The drawers slide nicely but are not as deep as I would have thought. The only thing I wasn't happy about is if you try to move the bed around the whole frame gets crooked making the drawers crooked as well, but it is easy enough to straighten back out and doesn't move much once you have the mattress on top. All in all it was a good value and decent enough for the price.
Price ripped off

Do not buy any product from Wayfair. This one I paid $517.17 after 10% off. I thought this was a good deal since I've got 10% discount. But Amazon.com sell this exact same one for $363.35. Can't trust this company!
Nice platform bed with storage
Bill the "Pretend Carpenter" from Beaufort, SC
After reading the other customer reviews, I bought this headboard and the matching platform bed with storage drawers. Both pieces were extremely easy to assemble. The concise instructions were step by step and well illustrated. The white color of this brand matches most other assembly-required white furniture pieces you might buy elsewhere so the pieces in our room all look like a set. The materials are cheezy but what low cost furniture isn't these days. You can expect to pay well over $1,000 for a traditionally built bookcase headboard with platform bed. I was a little disappointed to find the headboard and platform bed don't fit together without modifications. I built a box frame of 2x4's to mount the headboard to the bed. I drilled holes and used nice sturdy bolts and large washers so I wouldn't have to worry about the particle board tearing apart as it would if I just used wood screws. One of the other customers reviews said the bedframe would become "un-square" with movement which causes the drawer slides to come out of alignment. Thanks to that review I knew to install reinforcing angle brackets in all the corners to keep the bedframe square. I also installed angle brackets inside the headboard and under the main shelf to prevent any future sagging of the particle board. My modifications added 1-2 hours to the total assembly time. You'll need a drill, bolts, nuts, large washers, three 2x4's and an assortment of angle brackets. These two products are adequate but with some inexpesnive hardware and a few modifications you could have a nice, sturdy, inexpensive and very functional piece of furniture that makes efficient use of small rooms. We love ours!
Looks and works great!

Recently purchased this piece of furniture for my apt. It definitely took a few hours to put together but totally worth it! The drawers aren't exactly perfect, nothing ever is, but they are functional. Definitely a great platform storage bed for the price.
Just what I expected, looks like the picture online.

Love this bed! Did require assembly which took two people but did not take too long. The quality is reflected by the price, but it is just what my family needed. Great purchase!

I bought this bed for my daugther's room and I love it! Like all the other reviews it does take a while to put together. It directions are fairly easy to follow, but they would be better if including descriptions and not just pictures!

Nice bed but it isn't as sturdy as I hope to be. I couldn't screw one end of bed all the way. The bed wasn't as straight when I put int the drawers. Had to move the bed to straigtened. Wish the frame is more straighter or supported correctly. Otherwise, it is a very nice bed. Great with 12" mattress!
Difficult to assemble

This platform bed was priced right but was difficult to assemble. My grandson had to help me. When finished it was not as sturdy as it should have been and the drawers do not fit flush with the panels. My grandson & I have assembled a lot of furniture and we both agree this one was difficult. I am glad it didn't cost any more than it did. I would like it better if the platform was a few inches higher and the drawers were deeper, Shipping was very quick and arrived with no damage. I really appreciate that Wayfair does free shipping. Thanks.
