THis is so flimsy the slats that you lay the matrress on pop crack and yes have even broke even just easing into bed. the way the display is shown in pictue prevents bed drows from opening. We have a limited space, so the pic is somewhat deceaving. the headboard sold does not fit the bed so it leans and pivots, dropping any contenst on our head. we bought almost whole set and are very sorry we did, If this was not almost impossible to ship back we already would have. I bought the queen bed, headboard, cubby bench and two night stands. The directions should definitely say that once the plastic dowels are used, there can be no removal unless broken....and then well, they're broken. The only real problems I had with the bed is you'd better have someone there to help you with the headboard at least, and the fact that I was missing a lot of hardware. I thought the manufacturers were pretty great because they will mail you missing/broken/etc pieces for free and took care of any and every problem I've encountered. I love the bed set.

Looks better than I thought it would, but am a little disappointed with the quality. The drawers don't seat flush. I have come to the conclusion the holes drilled for one of the sides is off by about 1/8 inch since all the drawers do the same thing on the one side of the bed frame. I would still recommend this though since finding simple, sleek black bedroom furniture is nearly impossible and for this price its still worth it. Some people claim its hard to build but its no more difficult than any Sauder or Bush furniture you would have to assemble.

I absolutely love my new bed, it wasn't too difficult to assemble and it looks great in our master bedroom. The only con is the black scratches easily, you can hide it with a sharpie but it's still a bit of a pain. I still would recommend this bed to my friends, they all love the way it looks

the appearence is nice but the frame is too flimsy should have used wood boards for the side rails

Great for saving space and looks very good in my new loft. Be careful when making the bed for the inside edges are very sharp. Excellent deal for the price.

It definitely has allot of flows, but in it’s price range it rocks.
