I was shopping for a lat pull down machine and most wee pretty pricey. This one is well made and assembled fairly easy. The main plus to buying this one is its price. By far the best bargain going for a lat pull down machine.

nice machine. assembly instructions were a pain and you have to check the bolt prior to workouts but it worth it.

Some machines can only be as effective as they are allowed to be by design. But this machine stands above the rest and gives a range of excercises to target all your back muscles effectively.
Lat Machine by Body Solid

Overall a good lat machine. As some of the reviews I read before purchasing this product were correct. I am 6' 4" tall, 200 lbs. I have had to make adjustments in certain areas of the machine to get the full range of motion in certain exercises. IE instead of using the D rings that were sent to connect cable to carriage, cable to cable and cable to bar, I have had to bolt the connections directly together. I will say the welds on the seat base need to be looked at a little closer. The 2nd day I had the machine one of them broke. I have access to fabrication equipment so wasn't a big problem to fix. The last area is the hold down bar is about 2" to short for me one more hole higher would be perfect. Lastly the machine needs a push plate / hold down plate to increase the number of exercises you can preform on this machine. It has a few minor design flaws but for the price you can't go wrong. Like I said great machine for the money.
