Nice sturdy rack
Eric from La Prairie, QC – Verified Buyer
Very nice rack and well designed. I'm 6"2 and I use it for squats, bench press and seated shoulder press (i don't think it's high enough for standing shoulder press, but so is my basement ceiling so no issues here for me). I placed it backwards (so the chipup bar is towards the wall, as opposed to the picture), that allows me to position my incline bench exactly where I need it. Also, the "bar" on the floor is further enough that it does not interfere with your feet position when unracking for squating. Only con I can think of is the paint of the safety bars gets scratched when putting them into place, but I think it's because the holes have sharp edges, I guess a little bit of sanding on those few holes that I use will take care of the problem. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase, I would recommend it to anybody who wants to get serious about their training. A note about assembly, don't follow the instructions too closely, they want you to assemble the two sides first, then the base... I was alone and found it much easier to assemble the base, then add each side bars one at a time, then the top. Otherwise, the instructions are good enough with illustration of the major steps.
