Powell Merlot Cheval Mirror - 383-773

The mirror is very sturdy and the finish seems solid as I've had it for about 7 months and haven't had any damage to the surface of the wood. I'm not sure that it's worth over $200, but for some reason all cheval mirrors tend to be this pricey. All in all, it does it's job and I didn't have to go the route of putting holes in the wall for a full length mirror. If you don't mind shelling out the money, then I'd recommend it.

Matched perfectly with the rest of my bedroom furniture. You would think it was part of the original ensemble. It is right sized and I like the fact that the mirror itself swivels. Haven't discovered what I don't like about it yet. Have had it for a little over 4 weeks and so far it's working for me as I wanted and expected it to.

I bought the stand up mirror for when I'm getting dress to be able to see how my oufit looks before leaving my home. It serves the purpose and is a great outlook for my bedroom. It works great!

I needed to find something that would match my new bedroom set which is black with a cherry coating on it. Looks black with no light & Cherry with sunlight. This matches perfectly. It is very dark but very nice. It was easy to put together.

I ordered my cheval mirror on sight alone, which was risky for me, given that I have bedroom furniture that is very dark brown and fairly contemporary style-wise. But the risk paid off nicely. The mirror's frame is the exact color of the rest of my bedroom furniture (though I have to say calling it "Merlot" made me think it might be reddish brown, even though I wanted it to be a very dark brown, which is what the picture implied; it ended up being a very dark brown). [...] assembled it with no problem. My mother has already stopped by for a visit and is in love with it; she's thinking about ordering one herself. We'll see how it holds up, but one day in, I'm quite happy with it.

Great mirror. I mainly bought it for the style, it matches our bedroom furniture perfectly. Very nice quality construction and finish. Easy to assemble. The beveled edge adds a nice touch. Well worth the price.
