Great smaller end tables!
Kathy from Utica, MI– Verified Buyer
I ordered these tables to match a TV stand that I already have. The size is perfect. The quality of the product is good, however, all of the dowels and twist bolts in the thing are not a really tight fit. I put the first table together (the directions are terrible!) which took a lot longer than I had expected, because dowels fall out when you're tying to put the pieces together. I didn't have enough hands! Once the first one was together, I found it to be loose fit and not as stable as I would like a table to be that will be holding a lamp, etc. The second table I glued all of the dowels in, glued any pieces that were non-movable and found the piece to be much more stable. I will have to re-do the first table in order to be happy with it. Would HIGHLY recommend gluing as you put it together. They look great and have a decent storage area; magazine rack on the backside, shelves on the left side, enclosed storage on the right side. Love them - will love them more when I re-do the first one!

Hard to put together
Wayne Gordon from Manson, WA– Verified Buyer
This is the first thing from Wayfair that I was not totally happy with. It looks nice and is very sturdy except it is very hard to put together. There are pegs that hold many of the parts together and the pegs do not fit tight or help hold things tight so when you put it together it tends to fall apart before you get the few fasteners tightened. This also makes the furniture less stable that it would have been if they used fasteners for all the pieces instead of just pegs in holes. There is no solid wood. It is all particle board with wood grain finish. I find it a little overpriced considering there is no real wood. Also it appears there are three drawers on the one side. These just look like drawer fronts but are just a door for an one tall open space. Would probably passed on this if I would have known all I know about it now.
Powell Mission End Table
Evelyn from Kingston, TN
This comes unassembled and the instructions are not the most helpful. Looks good and is very stable once together. It took two of us and we still needed another set of hands, so I used my feetlegs (no joke). I was missing 2 shelf holders and have faxed the company for missing parts. If I don't receive I will go to Lowes and get 4 matching ones. The stickers identifying the parts were hard to get off. Overall I am pleased especially considering the price I paid. Delivery was quick!
Powell End Table - great table but very difficult to put together
Richard from Bridgeville, DE– Verified Buyer
We like this table very much but it had extremely poor instructions and it was very difficult to put together. Due to the poor instructions, we broke one piece when putting together. Fortunately, my husband is very handy and was able to fix it.

I ordered two of these tables. The quality was good, all the parts fit together nicely and it was relatively easy to assemble. Some hardware was missing from one of the tables and I am still trying to resolve that issue with the manufacturer.

Received within 2 days of ordering, very fast service. What you are purchasing is a KIT, everything needs to be assembled. So if this is not what you enjoy then I would advise against it. My husband does enjoy putting things together and it took about an hour and a half for both of us to complete it. First thing you need to do is have a vacumn out because it is covered with pieces of styrofoam. . We followed the directions step by step and did not have a problem, all pieces fit together. To make the table more secure my husband used wood glue on all the pegs. For the price it is a good value. You would pay twice that if assembled because of labor cost. Has cute features. Finish is not totally smooth but for a computer room it is fine. Would buy from Wayfair again.
Downright Difficult to assemble
Connie from Zachary, LA
I've put many things together before none tougher. Instructions seem backwards and one illustration must have a dozen steps. Made about 3 true attempts. Then sent off to handyman who had to drill holes to nail together. Once together it looks nice and like good quality but I see the imperfections. Functionality is a plus.

I love the look of the tables........however......because there wasn't any glue for the dowels, etc.........the end tables aren't as stable they would be if the pieces were glued where the sides, etc were attached..
