The single worst transaction experience Ive ever had... So this review is both for the sectional and my shopping experience. I want to be clear, i really do like the couch. Looks great, great support and easy to assemble and clean, this could have been the perfect experience but unfortunately every time I look at the couch I wished I had purchased it elsewhere...here is why.... On March 13th of 2013 I found this sectional, and thought what a great deal. I got 10 off the price plus free shipping and no tax...I purchased it didn't mind that the delivery date was April 11th, it being shipped from California for free... A week later on the 20th I get an email from wayfair stating that my order was canceled. I immediately called back to find out that they had trouble verifying my billing address...come to find out the checkout system mixed up my delivery info i sent to the driver and my billing address. They had sent me one email on the 15th regarding this matter and I had overlooked it because wayfair sends me 10+ emails a day trying to sell me things....You think if they are that concerned about selling me something that they would of tried slightly harder to get into contact with me over a rather large order....so I spoke to customer service on the 20th they tried to reorder my couch but couldn't process my payment because the pending charge was still on my checking account....I was assured by Dillon S in customer service that the charge would be dropped shortly and my order was replaced...6 days later on the 26th it was finally reordered not because the original charge was dropped, because i had to wait to get paid again to be able to place the order....the original pending charge from the 13th was not dropped from my checking account till the first week of April after I called and left a rather angry message to Dillon S...an extreme annoyance when you cant even access $800+ from your checking account and it causes you to overdraft. So the order was finally placed it was shipped out on the 29th with Dillon S. assuring me that even though the delivery date should still be the same even though it now said online April 23rd...I got the contact info from the shipping company who was handling the delivery the name of them was Belkman...I called them on April 10th asking about it and they told me the couch was arriving to Atlanta on the 12th and I would be getting a call from them the following Monday about scheduling delivery...even though I was annoyed by this I figured whatever its only a few days past the quoted delivery. I didn't hear from them on Monday so I called Tuesday (the 16th) and I was told they lost their delivery agent and my order was diverted to a warehouse somewhere in the middle of nowhere GA...When I asked when it was going to be delivered I was told they where working on it....I get a call the following Friday (the 19th) and was told that they could deliver it on the 23rd. I said fine and they told me they would be here to deliver between 12 to 4 and the driver would be calling me when he was in the area...I had to work a double that day so i got my day shift covered...I had to be back at work at 4:30...luckily i lived 10 min away from work so I felt that was plenty of time....I don't hear from the driver till 3:15 calling to say the delivery is running late and it could be up to 8 PM before he arrives...This was unacceptable....this company cost me money to wait for them and they didn't even show up...I called 4 times and spoke to 4 different managers who all promised me callbacks and I received none. All I got from them was the delivery was being rerouted and it was on its way and should be there by 4... I call again at 4:30 (the time I was supposed to be back at work) and talked to the most high up person that I could and the driver is stuck in traffic...I ended up running into a neighbor who I barely knew and they ended up accepting the delivery....I ended up at work 25 minutes late, and as a result I got suspended for 3 days on my next work week....This sectional cost me more than it was worth, the hassle, frustration and time spent over what should have been a simple transaction and the fact it took almost 6 weeks to get it delivered was completely outrageous...Wayfair screwed up at literally every step of this transaction and even though after some credit to my account, I still feel ripped off every time I look at it...I honestly wish I could give this post 0 stars, all I know is I will never purchase anything from Wayfair again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Good luck, there are plenty of better companies to go through for a purchase like this... |

I really like the modular sectional I got the sectional sooner than expected. It was easy to put together. It was packaged good and in good shape. I am really happy with the sectional. It is very nice and well made. It is made in Cina. It is comfortable and priced right. I was surprised how comfortable it is and I like how it has a modern look. I was also surpried that the ottoman and pillows came with it. There is good stoage with ottoman. The only thing I don't like is the feet being plastic, they should be rubber as so they don't slide around. You have to be careful not to screw the legs in too tight or you could ruin the legs, so not to break it - be careful. Otherwise, I am happy with the sectional. it came with a cover to velcro the snaps once it is put together, with is a nice feature. |

Good Products, Best Prices, Excellent Services, Trusted site. We've been looking for a living room set with leather or some things similar for easy cleaning and very firm seating cushions. We could not find it locally, so we went searching online, thinking nothing to loose, since we can't find it here. We found Wayfair offering 10 off for new customers, plus a very competitive pricing. We took the words very firm from a Wayfair Rep. in a Q&A section and bought this set. It took awhile coming from CA. finally it arrived as the promised delivery date. We had an issue with work and delivery schedules. We contacted Wayfair and asked for a special favor to help us receiving the set smoothly, Thanks!. We got the inside front door threshold service and my living room is on the second floor. We asked the driver to bring it up the hill and drop it by the back door and he happily did. Thanks! again. It was easy to put together. We liked the reversible part because we were not sure which way we wanted the L to turn. So we had to take apart and reassemble it. The set is well built, all wood and plywood (light), not wood fiber board. It looks expensive and gorgeous. Bonded leather looks like the real thing. Quality detailed stitches are in some cases better than the real leather furniture we found in stores here. The most important thing for us is It's FIRM, VERY FIRM, the FIRMEST on Earth. Extremely low quality support mechanism The support under the seat cushions is made of some kind of wide elastic or vinlyl, weaved together like on real cheap patio chairs. I cant see this lasting I will have to rebuild it somehow because I would have to pay to ship it back. I would be out several hundred dollars and still have no livingroom furniture. Before ordering this, I would recommend you ask for photos of underneath the cushions. There is also nothing to keep the pieces from sliding away from each other. |
