The pot rack is much heavier and sturdy feeling than I expected. It appears to be well built with nice clean welds and good finish. The chains that came with the pot rack seemed to be more lightweight than required for the pot rack but once installed they seem to be fine. The only complaint is that the paint on the pot rack hooks flakes off pretty easy. Not a big deal to paint them later once they see a little wear and tear. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It would be nice if the pot rack and hooks were powder coated versus just painted. I picked this rack because I liked the additional design versus a single level rack. It gives it a little dressier look in the kitchen plus a bonus of allowing smaller pots and pans to be hung from the lower level and still be easy to reach. I also ordered the optional grid for the pot rack and that was a nice added feature for a place to put large pots like a dutch oven or roaster."..."  Read more

We have a large old-fashioned kitchen with an odd wall and overhang right above our commercial style stove. Rectangular or round pot racks would not fit, or look right. It was a challenge finding just the right look and type of rack that would fit and have enough hooks and area to handle our pots and pans. This is a very sturdy really good looking pot rack. Comes mostly assembled except for hanging the plentiful hooks where you want them, and hanging the chains. It was very easy to install, and it evenly distributes the weight of our cast iron pots and pans. It looks beautiful and very expensive plus holds our set of LeCreuset and some other large frying and saute pans, plus we have a large paella pan sitting on the top of the grate on the rack. And it is priced right. We got it when promised with absolutely no problems. A really good purchase."..."  Read more

I shopped around to find a good pot rack and am happy I bought this one. Unlike others I saw, this one is designed so that the fasteners all align with wall studs; the included hardware was plenty sturdy, we didn't feel like we needed to replace it with something more heavy duty; and plenty of hooks were included. We put it up relatively quickly, just make sure you have a helper to hold it up while you mark the walls for where to hang it, and to hold it while you install the screws. It is heavy gauge and well manufactured, the only minor thing was that some of the finish had come off on some of the fasteners that hold the unit together, but a little dab from a Sharpie is all it took to make it better. It holds a lot, right now I have 10 pans hanging from it in a single row, and none of them are bumping in to each other, plus I have cutting boards and trays on top. And I still have some empty hooks I could use. I was literally giddy the first few times I walked across the kitchen to retrieve a pan! It has made things so much easier in my small kitchen. Highly recommended!"..."  Read more

I appreciate the installation tips included with the product; My kitchen has a 10 foot ceiling, and there were specific instructions for this application. Solid hanging rods were suggested instead of chains. I did this (rods ordered here also). It's more stable and looks more professional than chains. The 27.5" rods bring the pot hanger frame to the same level as tops of kitchen cabinets for a truly integrated look! NOTE: If hanging from drywall, be sure to use toggle type hooks that can support the weight. We have 2 hooks in solid wood (90 lbs each) and 2 hooks in drywall (60 lbs each)."..."  Read more
