I purchased this generator for my fifth wheel RV. The generator foot print fit perfect in the genertor compartment provided by the manufacturer of the RV. The remote start connection, fuel line, and battery connection fit easily and has easy access. Do not buy the exhaust pipe provided by Generac. It's a waste of money (too small). Have the exhaust pipe custom made at a RV dealer. Once installed, the generator starts up fast (once primed) and runs fairly quiet. Great unit for the money."..."  Read more

When we bought our first cabin we bought a $1,000 Briggs and stratton generator from sears not knowing anything about watts, etc. After burning 5 gallons of gas per night while only running a few lights I quickly decided it wasn't worth it.. we now use it for a backup at our house and got this little guy for the cabin. I could NOT BE HAPPIER! The B&S from sears leaks oil and has since it was new, they have had it twice and said they cant locate the problem but refused to give us a new one.. This little Buffalo one works like a beauty and their service is very good. It will pull down if running a small heater or microwave but for crying out loud, it's a small generator. For most small items and for portability and fuel savings, you simply can't beat it! highly recommend!"..."  Read more

I will be using this just for emergency to run my sump pump and a few lights if needed. The unit came in with a broken cover that is used to cover the wires, I removed it and will not replace After adding the oil and LP tank it started up after a few pulls and ran without any issues. I tried the pump and a few lights with no issues. It is a small unit so it is easy to carry and runs pretty quiet."..."  Read more
