This wooden fruit basket is filled with a piece of watermelon, a banana, a pear – these are cut able. It also includes a half kiwi, cherries and an apple – these are not cut able. To the basket belongs a wooden knife. Our daughter (2 ¼) loves to play with it. She knows exactly what fruit and veggie* she has and what color they have. (*She also has the Veggie Basket Play Food Set.) She can copy what we do – so that’s a perfect toy for her. The good fact is – she is learning to use a knife. I bought this for my almost 3-year-old daughter after she showed great interest in "helping" me put together a step stool. What I love about this little toolset is that it is very well-made, the pieces are all wood (except for a few parts), and it teaches the child to hammer, use a screwdriver, and use a wrench.
