[...] i read other reviews and people said it was hard to put together. if you follow step by step it's not that hard to do! it took 2 adults 3 hours to do it. some of the pieces where marked wrong so you had to figure it out on your own, which wasn't that hard. we were left with about 50 extra screws .... wondering why they would give so many but better then not enough. the quality isn't there but you have to remember how much you paid for it .... if you want quality don't buy this one buy one that's over a thousand dollars. Yes some of the wood split, again you get what you pay for. my concern is how it's going to hold up in the snow ... we will tarp it in the winter and hope for the best! no floor with it we will be building one. i thought it came with a pretend kitchen like the ones at Costco, it does not, we will buy a separate kitchen and putting it inside for more fun! the major thing is our kids love it and have already spent hours in it having fun."..."  Read more

This is a nice cedar playhouse precut with all the necessary hardware. I really don't think I could have built something comparable buying everything separate for the price. The only issues I had with it is that a) it does not have a floor, b) the roof ridge does not have a ridgecap so where the two uppermost roof slats meet it would leak (I resolved this by wrapping a 6 inch piece of tin flashing over the top of the rafters before placing the roof slats over it), and c) it is labor intensive...you have to build it literally piece by piece; nothing is preassembled. And for those with little or no assembly experience the instructions can be a bit daunting. But, I have to admit, after it is assembled, it is a very nice little princess playhouse."..."  Read more

I bought this for a birthday. The whole party decorated it for the birthday girl. We have had it for weeks now and it still is used for tea parties, sleep ins and her perfect little get-away."
