Playhouses

This is a nice cedar playhouse precut with all the necessary hardware. I really don't think I could have built something comparable buying everything separate for the price. The only issues I had with it is that a) it does not have a floor, b) the roof ridge does not have a ridgecap so where the two uppermost roof slats meet it would leak (I resolved this by wrapping a 6 inch piece of tin flashing over the top of the rafters before placing the roof slats over it), and c) it is labor intensive...you have to build it literally piece by piece; nothing is preassembled. I bought this for a birthday. The whole party decorated it for the birthday girl. We have had it for weeks now and it still is used for tea parties, sleep ins and her perfect little get-away."

My 4 yr old got this for Christmas and LOVES it! I was a little hesitant because the different sides are made for specific kinds of play (gas station, market, etc) and I was afraid it would limit him, but he has continued to make up his own scenarios and use his imagination. We bought this for our b/g twin grandchildren who are almost 2. They really love it! They are extremely active and often climb into the house through the various windows. The little table inside may suffer since it is the weakest element of this otherwise very durable and beautiful little house.
