Calling this a "pop-up" tent is a bit of a misnomer. There are actually 4 tent poles that have to be put inside. I basically had to put the tent over my head and go inside to put the poles in place, though it was easy enough. right now, my son is too young to use it, but once he is, i can see him accidentally pulling one of the poles out while playing inside, so, something to keep in mind..
