I began researching kitchens on line after my 2 nieces got kitchens for xmas and my little 2 year old daughter loved playing in them. Once I saw this kitchen I was completely hooked and would not settle for anything else.[...]at a great price too! [...] This kitchen was a birthday present for my daughter[...] in the end I'm so glad that I didn't settle for something else. I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old little girl, but my 2 boys aged 4 and 6 play with it as well. This kitchen is very well made and the quality is excellent. There were some minor scuffs and scratches on it but I figured in a few weeks my kids will eventually have scratched it up anyways. The kitchen is very cute and has lots of storage space. The kitchen took about 3-4 hours to put together, but I spent about an hour sorting out the pieces and the hardware. I also put most of it together by myself, my husband helped at the end, which is why it may have taken so long. I was also very careful and took my time because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The instructions were great and very easy to follow. [...]All of the hardware was also lettered and sorted, but they were not actually labelled correctly. I reorganized everything before I started which made putting it together a lot easier. All of the pieces are also clearly labelled and putting it together was actually quite fun. Everything lined up the way it should, from the predrilled holes, to the shelves and doors. In the end I would definitely recommend this kitchen! It is so cute and is exactly like the picture. I can see my daughter playing with this kitchen for years! I purchased this for my son's 2nd birthday. I got a lot of resistance from my husband on buying our son a kitchen because he is a boy. After we got it and he seen our son playing with it, my husband was glad I was persistent. I spent three weeks going to different stores and reading reviews before I made a decision on this kitchen. This kitchen has everything that most of the other kitchens have. I originally wanted the larger model kitchen, however, I am glad that I got this one because it has everything. I was focused on making sure all of the appliances were there, microwave, stove, sink, oven, refrigerator, etc. The only thing missing is the dishwasher. The green countertop gives the appearance that this kitchen is not only for little girls. Having this kitchen set at his young age, gives us the chance to really teach him all of the food groups and how mommy and daddy cook prepare meals.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this set of food. She asked lots of questions regarding why the food was "healthy" which was a good spring board for a healthy eating discussion. She was immediately comfortable with the foods as she eats the equivalent real foods already. She likes to pack a "healthy snack" for daddy every day and uses the bag the food came in as well. I am pleased with the play food and the set makes a nice addition to her play kitchen. The carrot and celery sticks are smaller than I expected. My husband and brother put this kitchen together in about 2.5 hours Christmas Eve for our daughter. I was a huge hit Christmas morning (and since then). The construction is extremely solid. The doors all have clasps inside that keep them closed but dont allow the child to slam them shut - a nice bonus. We purchased several toysaccessories to go with the kitchen also. The Melissa and Doug cookie set fits in the oven and their fridge and freezer food was a great accessory. While she loves to pile the food in the sink, she has made good use of the counter space something most of the other kitchens we looked at lacked. I was very pleased to see the kitchen is small enough for our two year old but big enough that she definitely has several more years of play before shell be too big for the counter height.
