T[...]The kitchen is solid and well made with quality wood. I attached the faucet, hot/cold knobs and the backsplash and the kitchen was ready to explored! My two girls ages 1 and 4 are having a great time playing and pretending with the little kitchen. They like the pull out sprayer next to the sink when they pretend to clean veggies or wash dishes. They enjoy turning the knobs in front of the cooktop and on the backsplash. They also like the open shelves to put their play dishes and food. I like the open shelves for safety and no pinched fingers! The sink also comes in and out for play, although my girls prefer to leave it in place. I bought this for my grandchildren. when they come over to play....ages 1, 2 and 3. It`s really heavy, so I don`t worry about any child tipping it over. The sink is a real hit with the 3 year old. He loves playing with play vegetables in the water. IT`s really well made too. It might not be as fancy as many play kitchens on the market, and I have checked out all of them :) , but I think the fancy ones are more for the parents anyway. This one is just perfect for kids, and it will last many many years. I`ve been teaching nursery school for almost 25 years, and this is the type of play kitchen we use. ... My Kids enjoy the cupcake set, especially the oven mitt. The set is a great quality wood toy as are all of the Mellissa and Doug products we own. With the exception of the flimsy paper wrappers, this cupcake set will likely stand up to years of play time. The wrappers look like standard cup cake liners so when they finally bight the dust I am sure I can find some replacements in my baking supplies. We also own the brownies and cookies and this set is a favorite. My kids are drawn to the colorful candles and frosting and enjoy preparing a cupcake with a candle and singing happy birthday to each other. Great toy for hours of fun play."..."  Read more

We're very happy with this kitchen. It offers full function, with everything in mommy's kitchen in a compact size. There's plenty of 'counter space' to put food and utensils while playing and the materials and craftsmanship look like they are quality. There are no lights or sounds which is my opinion is a plus, there's nothing wrong with a QUIET toy that encourages a child to use their imagination.
