Espresso with Black Glass

I was looking for a new entertainment cabinet that met these criteria: Had to be 22-inches tall or lower in order to place the TV at optimal viewing height Had space adequate for my AV receiver, PS3, and cable box along with doors to hide them. Contemporary styling. This unit fulfills each of my wants. I made sure to measure the dimensions of my AV gear prior to ordering this unit to ensure they would all fit in the spaces I had planned for them. Each of the 3 doors has a glass pane that enables the doors to remain closed and still be able to remotely control all the AV gear. There are cutouts in the rear of each space to provide air flow, although with the front doors closed, it still gets pretty warm in the cabinet space after awhile. If you are planning on placing a center speaker between the glass and cabinet, make sure you measure your speaker height and compare it to the specs. There is an option to order taller metal brackets to allow more clearance between the glass top and wood cabinet. Speaker wire and other cables are hidden under and behind the unit, but there is not a devoted "cable-management". The unit took me about 4 hours total to put together. I did it alone, although the glass top is very heavy, and I'd recommend 2 people to lift it. Construction is pretty straight forward if you've put together flat-packs before. The only real problem was with the door hinges, which take some time to get installed correctly. Once put together, this unit is very heavy and sturdy. It looks great and is a perfect choice for a low-profile entertainment center.
Love the product -- the instructions could have been better

It's exactly what I pictured and wanted. Does exactly what I want it to do, and seems well made. The instructions for assembling were vague, and a couple of the necessary holes weren't drilled all the way through; two sets of the starter holes for the hinge screws were not there at all. So the product is great; assembling it was more difficult than it needed to be.

Just as described- rich espresso color, contemporary yet classic design, the three elements (glass, wood, and metal) work flawlessly together in this sturdy and functional stand- very pleased.
A very attractive stand.

This piece takes awhile to put together, but the design is well thought out and very attractive. I bought the XL frames in order to fit a paradigm reference center channel underneath the TV. The 10 inch vertical clearance is crucial and very rare in a TV stand costing less than $2000. One warning to other paradigm owners, the CC-690 will not fit. That speaker is more than 16 inches deep, and the supports for the top shelf are only 13 inches from the front. My CC-590 fits perfectly.

Final TV stand is gorgeous and great quality - it was just harder for us to build than expected - directions could definitely be a little clearer and putting it together requires some basic knowledge. Stand is super high quality though, looks like an amazing piece of furniture and came quicker than promised.
Totally love it !!!!!

Looked at hundreds of TV stands on the web - this fit our contemporay decor and solved the problems of hiding many components. It ships KD and was packed very well. Hub put it togother in one afternoon. It is expensive but compared to all the others we have seen, the extra $$$ were worth it. Very pleased and received it in only a few days. Thank You !!!!!!!
Once you get it together, it's beautiful

I feel the instructions could be written with more detail. It uses locking cams in the assembly, with two of them breaking in the process. I had to glue and clamp that joint. When assembling the door fronts, they did not pre-drill the holes deep enough on the hinges, so two screws broke off leaving me with no way of backing them out. I had to epoxy it instead leaving me very frustrated. It seems the screws were very cheap to break so easily, and you can bet I pre-drilled the rest of the holes and babyed the rest of them in. Other than that, it came well packaged, but beware of the weight. It's over 200 pounds. Once I got it together, it looks great!
Nice product. Instructions lacking.

I almost ruined this nice piece during assembly. The instructions were not explicit. Screw sizes were listed as "large" etc rather than exact sizes. After stripping one of the connectors I was able to salvage the assembly with wood screws that I supplied myself and inserted in an alternate location. Looks great now that it is together. Components need to be lifted up a few inches in order for line of site remotes to function through the glass windows.
