These stands were easy to assemble. The look is classic and elegant. I've placed a large ceramic pot on top and a small plant on the bottom shelf. There is no problem holding the weight. I've been looking everywhere for an indoor plant stand and this year they're nowhere to be found. This plant stand is very sturdy but my husband had a rough time assembling it.
