Piel Drawstring Backpack
LOVE this backpack!
Ali from Idaho
I bought this backpack about 2 years ago, and I have never regretted it! I got tired of carrying a large bag full of files to and from the office AND a purse with my wallet, etc., so I decided to just buy a larger but nice leather backpack to do double duty. This bag was just the thing! It easily fits my binder and files, a book to read, my wallet, and all the other things us ladies carry around in bags. :) And I can't you how many strangers or checkout clerks at stores tell me how much they love it and ask me where I got it. It has been very durable, still looks great (maybe even better because it now has that gorgeous aged leather look), and I wouldn't part with it for anything. The only drawback I've found is that when I do fill my bag with binders/folders, etc and it gets a bit heavy, the clasp never stays clasped. But I just draw the drawstring to make sure everything stays put, and off I go. (Though maybe that problem has been fixed since I bought it since a reviewer here said the clasp was hard to undo...) But I'm happy to put up with that clasp glitch because of how much I love everything else about this backpack. I will DEFINITELY buy another when this one wears out. (Which, at this rate, will be never. :))

I bought this for travel to Sweden and Denmark. I used it for my purse, carry on the plane and walking around everyday. It was roomy enough to stowe a sweater and rain jacket, passport, wallet, travel book and any purchases along the way. It was comfortable and stylish. Mine is chocolate brown and a word of caution; it will leave smudges on your clothing. The clasp was a bit hard to open and close but it also kept the pickpockets out. Otherwise it worked out perfectly. I'm sure this will last me for many trips to come.

Bought the pack for my wife to pack all the extra stuff she thinks she needs when she goes to work. Got tired of cheap bags falling apart and replaced by another cheapy. Didn't know if she would like it that much, and figured I could use it for all sorts of stuff. She thinks it's great. One person at work thought it too masculine. Appears the rest of the like it. Quality seems to be quite nice and holding up well. This is the 4th piel bag I've bought. I think it's the best deal for the money. The other 3 are different styles and I really like them.
