great pet ramp
Robert from North Ridgeville, OH – Verified Buyer
Wanted to replace the old ramp that I have which is 8yrs old. For what it cost it should have lasted a lot longer. It wasn't a pet ramp brand, it was the solvit aluminum telescoping kind that the walking part is plastic with some traction tape stuck to it. After using the ramp for a few months things started to fall off and break. I'm mechanically inclined so I just kept fixing it . Now this ramp looks real nice. First I like the traction thread, molded and rubberized. It feels real nice and looks like it would give the dogs paws a firm footage. Second they claim that it can hold 500.lbs. I'm 260.lbs I walked on it and it did flex some but I didn't feel it was going to come out from underneath me. The plastic hinge looks sturdy. It take some getting use to for opening and folding because of size, also being different than my last ramp. I would like to say I'm satisfied with my purchase. Price, Product quality, and service were outstanding. thank you.
Ramp works well with strap for side entry into our SUV

We have a young Newfoundland mix, who already has exhibited some hip soreness. We got this ramp to provide a smooth entrance into and out of our SUV. It is easy to install and stows in the back. It is heavy and sturdy enough to be secure, while still being light enough to maneuver into position. Our dog learned how to use it with 10-15 minutes of training: beginning with on the ground walkovers, then placing ramp over a few steps for a walk up, and finally up into the SUV. Treats definitely help. Pros: Easy assembly, durable construction, ridges provide good grip for paws Cons: Takes up a fair amount of room to store in back of SUV
Big Ramp for a BIG Dog!

This product is awesome! Extremely sturdy with a non slip surface. We have a 125 pound dog who is too big to jump into the vehicle. Initally it was a bit like getting horse loaded into a horse trailer but once Percy got the hang of it we were good to go. Highly recommend this product for large dogs. Can't beat the price for the product! Pros: Folds and is lightweight for easy set-up and storage in your car.
Best Ramp Ever

We have an aging Husky Dog and a 3year Pit Mix The Husky is totally used to climbing the ramp now and she took a couple of spills trying to learn the correct approach and assent/descent.She is a stubborn dog and can be very fearful of many things but with just a few try's and patience from us humans she now runs for the SUV and zips up the ramp The Pit does it just for the fun of it! Easy to fold and unfold.Stores easy between our two big dog crates in the SUV.
Excellent product - dog adapted to it almost immediately

I bought this ramp to help our Bernese puppy get into and out of the back of our station wagon, but in between car rides we have used this ramp as a means for the puppy to get up and down the three steps from our deck to the backyard lawn. We received the ramp the day after we picked up our puppy. At eight weeks old she quickly adapted to using the ramp to go between the deck and the yard, because the stairs were not something she could easily handle on her own. It has been a few weeks since we first got the puppy and now she uses the ramp all the time, despite the fact that she has grown enough to manage the stairs (at least going up). The ramp is well made and very sturdy. Highly recommended.
Excellent Product - Exactly as described

This was a great purchase for our aging golden retriever! I just love the rubberized treaded surface. It 's easy on her paws and theres no fear of her slipping. It folds in half for easy storage. The only con is you need to be very careful in folding it or you could possibly pinch a finger off. My dog took to it very quickly.

I bought this for our deck steps, my doggies are small and can not handle the steps. This ramp is great the treads are part of the ramp. I recommend this ramp for the small dogs that need help with steps or a vehicle.
Help for our Kodi

the ramp is fine quality, however the legs should be depth adjustable to help him get in and out of the pool easier He is a big guy and his legs reach to 2 ft while he swims even with his life vest a lower in the water ramp would be easier to exit on I will probably cut the aluminum ramp legs shorter

Strong and Sturdy

This ramp is made of heavy plastic and folds in half. My 130 lb Golden Retriever gets up and down from my SUV with ease. The only drawback is the weight of the ramp, it's a bit heavy! Otherwise, it is great!
