Well made carrier with great features. Flatter more square shape is better if you are going to use it as a car seat a lot than the more vertical shape of the backback multifunction carrier. Have not been able to figure out the difference between the 31 Pet Gear and 41 Pet Gear. They appear to be the same and perhaps is just a change in marketing. Color in picture is accurate. and good for a boy dog or anyone that likes blue. A little pricey so try to buy on sale. But they are well made and have good features. You can unzip everything so you have full access to the inside in case you have to clean it. Be sure to use the tether when using as a car seat. Preferably (safer) with a harness rather than a collar.

I ordered this product to be able to take my chihuahua on bike rides. The handlebar clamps do not fit the average handlebar thickness so I had to remove a safety reflector and move the clamps where they would fit. I used the carrier twice on a bike ride and the bottom left corner began to rip.

I set up the bag on my bike like the instructions directed me to but the bag hangs down as if my dog is too heavy and it drags on the wheel and makes it hard to ride the bike. My maltese is only 7 lbs and he should fit fine so it's a bit dissapointing.
