I love it!

It is quite stable and has a no-skid surface. Auggie (the dog who needs it) will go up it, but coming down... not so much. Not a flaw in the ramp, just a flaw in his thought process. We'll keep working on the training.
It's pretty nice but....

...I think I will have to install some lightweight carpeting on it, as our dog seems to slide a little when he uses it. The green finish is sort of sandpaper-like and I thought it would be adequate for him to walk up and down however he seems a bit hesitant at times & I think it's because he can't get a grip. I will put some double sided carpet tape on it and a light piece of carpet and see how it goes. Other than that, it's great. Very light and easy to fold up & store. Our arthritic Lab Retriever is grateful!

This ramp looked like such a good idea, but there a few things wrong. First, it is not "lite" but I can live with that. Second, I was expecting some type of hooked end that that would help it grasp the edge of the car/sofa/bed. Third, and foremost is the surface. It is rough like sand paper, but it is also slick. My English Bulldog tried using it at about a 30 degree angle & she kept sliding. I am going to glue some pieces of carpeting to it, to give her more traction. All in all I think there are better products out there.

It will work for what we need. 14 year old greyhound need an occasional boost. This needs five more words, so here they are.

I travel with 2 dogs and have a injury so I can't pick up the dogs to put them in and out of my truck. The day I received this was the day before I was going out of town. I didn't know how the dogs would like it so I set it up inside with a coffee table and practised with them like a game. 1 took to it right away and the other is more hesistant but follows the leader just fine. I love it! The dogs walk up and get into the truck and then right into their booster seats and wait to be buckled in. The green walkway is not too sandpaper like but allows the dogs to know they are sure footed and don't slip. Going down is just as easy as going up.

This ramp is very easy to set up and take down and my dog, a Springer Spaniel started using it right away. She waits for it to be put in place and it has helped her with her hips a lot. It is very strong and not flimsy which I think helps to make the dog feel secure. Easily folds and fits in the back seat.

Easy to use right out of the box. Took the dog a few times to get used to it but a breeze afterwards.
