Pet Gear Home' n Go Generation II Deluxe Portable Soft Extra Small Pet Crate
Cinder from CA
I am very happy with this crate. My pup stayed in a Pet Gear playpen when I was working, so most of a year. She was able to open the zipper, so I used a diaper pin to secure the two zipper tabs together. Eventually, after scratching every day to get out when I got home, the fabric around the zipper started to give way, but I felt it withstood a lot of abuse. This was the reason I got this particular crate. It is WELL constructed. In this case, my Maltizu only sleeps in it. She fits comfortably for sleeping, but she is as tall as the ex-small crate. There's not much room for stretching, etc, but that makes it cozy for sleeping. (When you're crate training, you don't want it too big or they may find space for a bathroom.) I wouldn't put it to the test by leaving her in it during the day. I think she would manage to either tear it or unzip one of the many zippers. : ) Having said this, I think it would take her a while. Don't leave it unzipped! The zipper is nice and chewy. She broke out of the[...] soft crate immediately. I bought this for my RV, but she sleeps in it at home too. The pad is nice, even though it is different than described. You'll be happy with this crate for a small dog or a well-behaved larger dog.
Exactly what we wanted!

We have this same kennel that we got four years ago and love it. Easy to clean. Recently we got another puppy and decided to get another of the same for her since our older dog was not willing to share.

We are very happy with this crate and our pomeranian loves it. It helps her feel safe when we leave her at home by herself, and she sleeps in it every night. The only disappointment was the "water proof tray" it say it comes with, which turned out to be a plastic lined piece of fabric that folds up. I was under the impression that it was an actual tray with lips on the side to prevent any accidents from soaking out. It folds up really easy, and the cover can come off the frame to put in the wash if it gets dirty. I am very happy with this crate and would buy another if needed.
