Even though it was a return it was in good shape with all parts in box.

Correct height to help our senior beagle get on the couch (I know, I know.) The slant is just a little too much, though, for coming down the stairs -- would recommend a re-design with a little less slant. The steps sink in a little when our large bassett hound uses them.

Easy to assemble, good directions. 13 pound dog learned how to use quickly. Nonskid feet do move a little on my wood floor (satin not glossy finish) when the dog leaps and runs on the steps. I used a nonslip mat for a throw rug under the steps with great results.

This item was reasonably priced, easy to assemble and good quality. Our Chihuahua got used to it in about a week and now uses it all the time. We found that you have to prod them along to get them to use it but they finally get it.

The steps are used to help an arthritic 8 pound poodle get up on the sofa. After trying other steps, I find the larger size of each step to be better. The only down side is the slant/angle of the steps. I have added a 4" support to the bottom to level the steps. The dogs (I have 2) won't use the 3 step I purchased for the bedroom when the steps are tilted downward. I've leveled those steps also. Otherwise the quality and price are great [...]
