I purchased this as a request from my Daughter for Christmas for her little yorkie-poo mix. She placed it in the back seat and the dog likes it because it is tall enough for him to lay down and still see out the window. She tried to attach the restraining strap to him, but he didnt like that (he is used to riding without a booster seat). It also is nice that the cover is able to be unzipped and washed as needed.

This canine booster seat is made too small. I knew this from having read previous reviews and so purchased the large size for a 22 lb dog. He is just able to lie down in it. The cushion itself is flimsy and cheap, so I added some additional stuffing to it. The body itself of the booster is very easy to buckle to the car seat and covered in cloth, so the seats do not get scratched. The height is perfect for a small dog, but a larger dog would hit the roof. This seat is good for small to medium-sized dogs only. It suits my needs with some minor adjustments to the inner cushion.

product its very useful and seems to be constructed very well...the only real complaint that I have about it its that it is NOT the easiest to wash..I do not use the pad that comes with it because it sits my dog up too high, no fault of the product, which means I have to take the entire covering off to clean it...talk about a pain in the butt !!!!

This booster seat was just what I wanted. My little dog loves to look out the window in the van and he can riding in the booster. He used to walk around and change seats but now he just stays in the booster. It has two different hooks you can clip to his collar if you want. I don't clip him he just stays in. I hope to buy another one for my son's dog. I got the large one and my dog is only about 8lbs.He has enough room and I won't one any smaller.

Using in my small car, dogs much safer and I'm a better driver because they are not trying to climb into my lap

I am delighted to say that this carseat is just as you read about it. Quality is very good and it is well made. The harness straps are a little long for my dog, but with a quick knot they were just right. Since my Sheltie, Nikki, is not fond of even short car trips, I am happy that the better viewing makes her a little less anxious. [...]

I have myself and rescue toy-sized dogs and they, like the big dogs love to see out of the car window. This solves the problem and keeps my dogs safe at the same time. The seat uses the car's seatbelt to secure it to the seat and this product has short "leashes" to keep the pet in the seat/bed. The product itself is very light as it's filled with very dense foam and the cover zips off for easy cleaning. AND the price is right at Wayfairs! I only gave the product 4 stars, although it's a 5 star product because it's large and bulky and has to be stored somewhere when not in use.

I agree with other comments that the tether is way too long. I cut most of it off and sowed it back together. Otherwise my small dog would have been left hanging off the side. I can't imagine why a safety seat meant to contain a dog would allow the dog to get out of it. Once I fixed it myself, it works great. It's easy to anchor it safely with the seat belt. Glad I got it.
