Pet Gear Bike Basket 3-in-1 Pet Carrier in Sage

i love my bag, love the color especially that it matches my bike. Has enough space and pockets, the only thing that i noticed is when i was riding with it on, if i hit a bump or something at good enough speed, the part(comes included but used for bikes) that supports the bag on bottom, while simultaneously the piece is pushing against the neck bar on bike(so the bag dosent dangle and hit the front bike tire)....anyways that part sometimes would fall off where it was supposed to go and luckily those few times it fell it was still hanging on my bike (so check here and there after going over bumps to see if its still there) in addition, that piece also rubbed against my bike where it goes and made scratches which i wasn't happy about, but my dog loves riding, every time the bikes come out, she is jumping, ready to go. i mean everything is not always perfect but my husband is gonna make some modifications so bag stays up and piece dosent continue to scratch my bike..

Fit the bike just fine. Has pockets for all my pet's stuff (ok and my wallet and keys). I really like the built in retaining leash and how easy it is to make it into a side carrier.

I have two pins...Chimo & Sassi. They love riding in their carrier on my bike & in the car. It is wonderful.

The product was delivered in the wrong color (bright blue not sage). that was my first turn off. The attachement to the bike is really wiggely and tends to fall off.

I bought this for my larger bodied Pomeranian, Osa. I played with this carrier as part of her toys for a few days, got her smell all over it and then attached it to my electric bicycle. I put Osa into the carrier, kind of tucked her in and off we went. At first she wasn't sure and tried to stand up and get out but I told her to lay down and stay and she did and then she kind of relaxed and started looking around. She spent the remainder of the ride looking at the neighborhood, barking at dogs and relishing the fact that they couldn't get to her. Lots of storage space, doo-bags, treats, leash, water, cards. Everything packed in and more room left over. It could be made a little taller but it is really made for much smaller dogs than my Osa but she fits with the top right at shoulder height. She actually tells me it's time to go riding now with her barks and actions.

My pek-a-poo is liking his new ride. The installation was farely easy. The design and stability is a little weak, but it is working okay now for my 12 pound buddy. Overall a good product.

This is a great pet carrier. It is easy to use and perfect for taking our puppy on a bicycle ride. Watch out though. The tether may still allow your dog to jump out of the carrier. I recommend using a harness instead of a collar if you plan on using this for bicycle rides.

I purchased this product specifically to use as a bike basket. It didn't quite meet my expectations in that department. The description mentioned it was good for dogs up to 15lbs or so, mine is 10lbs. I found that the basket would hit the front tire when I hit a bump. So unless you had a front rack to support the bottom or a lighter dog, I wouldn't recommend using it for this. The installation was easy but it didn't feel overly secure to me. As well the opening for the dog is quite low and I would have preferred a higher wall to ensure that the dog wouldn't fall out if you hit a bump. Overall, I didn't feel secure taking this into heavy traffic with my dog on board but if you are a leisure rider then it might be just the right fit. In terms of a carrier, I thought it exceeded expectations. The hard handle allows for easy maneuverability and I like the fact that it converted into many different transportation options. The straps on the back to secure the carrier with a seat belt in the car are a great idea. The only downfall is that due to the hard handle that protrudes you may have trouble with airlines depending on the seat height as you wouldn't be able to squish it down to fit. Some pros and cons, but it would be a great bag for a new dog owner with lots of transportation and storage options.
