I bought this to put in an inside window so my cats could access an enclosed porch that is not heated. It works great, and with a little coaxing the cats are all using it now with no problems. Its a little bit of a tight fit for my fattest cat, but she can still get through with no problem. The only thing I don't like is that the ad said you could fix the door in an open, closed or swing one way or the other....well open to me would be that the door is completely out of the way, and the open to the manufacturer is about an inch or so. We ordered a wall entry dog door and it was what the product stated it would be like. The only thing I would change would be the plastic tunnel that connects the two doors it needs to be made stronger. We reinforced ours with a wood frame underneath.
