Pegasus Bamboo Single Handle Tub and Shower Faucet Trim

I was so disappointed in this product. It is such a shame because the design of the faucet and handle are beautiful! They matched the bamboo theme I was doing in my bathroom remodel. However, the regulator simply doesn't work. The cartridge is defective and will not shuffle between hot or cold water properly. So I am stuck with lukewarm baths when not enough hot comes out, or scalding hot water when the cold doesn't flow through the regulator right. I called Pegasus and had them send a replacement cartridge, which they did free of charge, but the replacement also does not work. Its just sad that I can't recommend this faucet at all.

Love the faucet

I chose this model solely on style and price. I wanted a bamboo design to create a spa atmosphere. In checking with home improvement stores, it was much cheaper and easier to purchase online. I picked the brushed finish as was tired of chrome fixtures. It is installed and has the look I wanted. I have never purchased this brand, so I will reserve any comments on long term performance and durability. To date no problems but time will tell.

We bought these faucets for a remodel of our master bath. We had read some negative reviews(alot actually) but for the price and quality, we were very impressed. The instructions included were not the best but if the person/plumber knows what they are doing it is not a problem. We needed a extension valve stem for the shower because our walls and shower unit walls are too deep. the part is very hard to find but the Pegasus customer service rep was very helpful. So far we love the faucets and for the price you just cant beat them.

I put this faucet set in my extra bathroom in the basement. The theme for this bathroom is: tranquil, relaxing, and serene and it fits perfectly.

Looks are there but what's underneath is a disappointing lack of quality. The valve is so tight that the handle will slowly breakdown as you are not sure when to stop rotating. I've replaced the handle two times with a warranty; but the valve is the underlying problem. I also bought 4 of the corresponding faucets and had to return them after the stems leaked over and over. It's so sad because the bamboo and old fashioned water pump look is so appealing. Pegasus needs to re-check their quality process and then market a new (no more problems) product launch.

The set looks great and how the water rolls out of the Bamboo spout is so cool. The handle and valve are very strong and the shower head has average water pressure with adjustable spray. All in all it looks great and works great.
