Solid mount Used this to install a 60" Vizio plasma in my living room. My TV is a beast, weighing 180lbs. The mount can definitely handle the weight, IF you have studs in the right places. The main issue is it relies on you having 3 studs 16" apart, with the center stud fairly close to center on your mount wall. My studs were 24" apart, however I lucked out and there was one additional stud in between for some installed electrical. The three studs were favoring the right side of the mount so I had to use multiple heavy duty drywall anchors to secure the left side. The anchors did so-so under the weight, but with the three studs this thing isnt going anywhere. It is a must to use two people to hang the TV, as in my case it is heavy and as soon as mounted the set tilts down to the 15 degree angle. It would be nice if the arms could be adjusted with no weight on them, as in before they are secured to the TV to the correct angle, because it was a pain with the weight of the TV. Also it is very hard to reach the bottom securing screws once the TV is mounted without a very long screw driver. All in all, a good mount, especially for the cost. |

Great mount for my Panny 58V10 As the title says I bought this mount for a Panny 58V10 plasma TV that's mounted on a wall in my family room above a fireplace. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be sturdy enough. Wrong, this mount is built like a tank and is very heavy. All of the hardware (bolts & screws) are separately packaged in a long strip of plastic. Instead of having to sort through a box of screws you just open the portion of plastic that you need. The one problem I did run into was that one of the brackets on the TV was blocking one plug in the outlet I'd installed. So, my suggestion is to measure the distance between the holes where the brackets mount on the TV first. Transfer this measurement to the wall bracket and see where it falls. After doing that I was able to determine where my outlet should have been. I would have saved myself a lot of time and effort if I'd done that first. I ended up moving the outlet above the wall bracket instead of the slot in the wall bracket. I'd also considered getting a tilt/swivel wall mount. Now that I have the tilting mount installed I'm glad that's what I purchased. I haven't changed the tilt since I installed it. Overall, I love this mount and would highly recommend it for your TV. I would have given it five stars if the instruction manual had mentioned my suggestion about measuring where the TV brackets would fall on the wall bracket to help determine outlet placement. |

Much more difficult than advertised The tv cannot be centered on a wall if the wall studs are not evenly spaced to the right and left of the center. |

3 Stud install is very sturdy I used this for mounting Panasonic TH-50PZ80U TV above the fireplace. In my case, the stud was at center of the TV, so I couldn't use ST660P which mounts only over 2 studs. I had to find a model which uses 3 stud mount and this worked perfectly. The mounts from some very good companies dont provide as detailed info as peerless website neither do most of the companies make 3 stud mount. The TILT option works fine. The TV is very flush against the bracket, so its recommended to connect the cables before finally mounting the TV on the bracket. |

Works well - Did the job Utilized bracket to cover a custom built in that housed a older TV. New flat screen with bracket now covers the "Hole" where the old TV used to be. Works well for me,looks professional. |
