Superb product! I'm very impressed with this mount. It was an excellent price for a very well made product that extends this fast out. It keeps the TV perfectly level with all movements. I can easily pull it out to the max extension and easily return it to the fully stowed position. It is very solidly engineered and manufactured. |

Excellent very well built mount! Product Review This is a very sturdy mount that is well worth the price if your application calls for it. This mount is very sturdy with no moniter tilt when articulated. (common problem with cheap mounts.). Extends and retracts easily up to 2/3rds full extension. Because my application calles for full extension It must be finessed back. I highly recommend this mount but suggest if you need the full extension capability do not plan to retract it often as it would become a pain on a daily basis. Service Review I paid for expedited shipping and when I check status found the order wasn't filled yet. Called customer service and the very accommodating English speaking American promised to find out what was going on and call me back. 1 hour later I recieved her call and she had made sure the warehouse pulled my mount to ship out that day. I recieved it less than 24 hours later! Very helpful and customer satisfaction driven team @Mounts & More. Highly recommend you use this company for all of your needs. I will be!!! |

EXCELLENT PRODUCT This product is seriously awesome. So heavy and sturdy that I was afraid I couldn't mount it (on brick). |

Worth the extra money Product Review I used this mount with a new Sony Bravia 60" LCD within an entertainment hutch. I love the adjustment features of this mount. It is firm, so it doesn't move from where you set it, yet it can be adjusted as needed. Forward and back, left / right in and out swivel (e.g., push right side in or pull right side out), top / bottom tilt, and left / right shift. Mine is mounted within a hutch, and I can easily "swing" the TV into any position so that I can change cables when needed. This is not a critical feature but has come in very handy a few times. This mount might cost a bit more than a similar model, but it seems worth it for the sturdiness and features. Service Review Delivery was within the stated time and it arrived in expected condition. |

We made it work Overall a great mount. Unfortunately the bits that connect to the TV would not slide to a sufficiently narrow setting (there's blocks and brakes to prevent it) for my 40 inch Samsung. I like the rest of the stand so I took various bits off and improvised. I got it to fit with a few adjustments (nothing too complicated, I'm averagely handy and it was common sense). I also have a 60 inch tv so I bought this sturdy mount in case I wanted to mount that one day. Just check the back of your tv, especially if it's a Samsung with 4 central screws quite close together (about 6 or 7 inches). |

Great mount...easy to install I ordered the mount to hold my new Samsung 60 inch plasma, which weighs about 150 pounds. I wanted to mount it over the fireplace in the niche that seems to be standard in most new homes these days. The TV has about 1.5 inch clearance on both sides and about 3 inches on top and bottom. So, the TV needed to be mounted exactly in the center of the opening. In addition, the niche is about 24 inches deep, so I had to get an articulating mount. I checked various websites and Wayfair had the best selection/price combination. The SmartMount mount was easy to install onto the wall, although the studs to which it was mounted were not centered on the niche opening. No problem, once the base was mounted to the studs the articulating arm plate slide left/right enough to center the arm on the niche opening. The mount uses six large lag bolts to mount into the wall studs and is rated for 200 lbs. I weigh 160 lbs and did several pull-ups on the mount before setting the TV in place. The mount is sturdy and did not flex much if at all. My only complaint is the mount hardware that attaches to the back of the flat screen. The bolts provided to attach the bracket to the TV were small and barely reached through the mount into the TV. With a 150 lb TV worth several thousand dollars riding on those six bolts, I decided to visit [...]and get longer hex head bolts. The bolts were an odd size but the helpful person at HD was able to track them down. The other issue is that the TV does not slide up/down enough. In other words, the mount does not allow enough travel for adjustments up/down. The mount is centered on the wall of the niche, but the mounting holes on the TV are off center a bit. I maxed out the travel allowed on the TV mounting bracket, but the bottom of the flat screen still sits on the bottom of the niche when the TV is tilted forward. Not a big deal and I should have compensated in my measurements for the off center TV mounting holes, but I think the bracket could have been larger. It took two of us (inexperienced at mounting flat screen TVs) approx. three hours from unpacking to setting the TV in place. It looks great, works well and I am very pleased. |

A Must Buy Item Although the unit is a bit heavy, it is very sturdy and handles my 52" Sony like a champ. I installed it by myself (with the exception of setting TV to unit) in about 3 hours. It is sleek looking and does all it is advertised to do. If your looking for a super durable unit, forget trying to save a few bucks with the cheaper junk out there and purchase a Peerless. |

This is my 6th mount! This mount holds a 52" monitor in a manufactoring environment. It allows the monitor to pivot/swivel with ease. |
