I bought this PRS Series mount to replace the Vector Pro I was using with my Sony HS51A. The Vector Pro is a very slick looking mount but it is just way, way too hard to adjust because of it's ball and socket design. The PRS, while not as cool looking as the Vector Pro, has separate adjustments for both planes. I had my projector adjusted in a matter of minutes. Also, the PRS adapter plate is a hinged design so when it comes time to replace the projector lamp it's one screw, let the projector flip down, and pull the lamp out. Very nice feature. As with the Vector Pro, the mount is made from machined aluminum and is high quality. My only complaint is it flexes a little too much for my liking. I think it's like that by design to absorb vibration, but when I touch the projector for any reason, the picture wobbles a lot. If you need your projector mounted from the ceiling you can't beat the rugged quality of this unit. The 4 adjustable arms (we needed only three) have virtually infinite positions they can be configured. The universal head unit can allow your projector to be positioned at nearly any position. You will need to purchase a pipe measured to the length you need, and have both ends threaded, and a pipe stand, from your local [@] (home store), and maybe a piece of 3/8 inch plywood cut to your dimensions. Cut a hole in the plywood for the pipe to pass through, then screw the pipe stand on the opposite side of the plywood from the projector. Thread one end of the pipe into the pipe stand and the other end into the slotted collar provided in the Mount kit.Your application may be different, but you would be hard-pressed to find a better Mount to suit your needs."..." This mount was used in a room that had the previous mount out in the middle of the room and it stuck out like a sore thumb. I was able to move it out of sight, back further off of the high ceiling and the black almost was invisible on the dark blue ceiling paint. The owners were thrilled !! Easy to mount and adjust."..." This mount has plenty of pitch and roll adjustmets. It's easy to assemble and install. It should accomodate almost any type of projector with the adjustable configuration on the base of the mount. The only concern that I had was the lack of concealment cover at the top of the mount. However, it was ok for the type of install application for which it was used.
