This is the second unit that we have had installed and they both perform great. Gets the tv very close to the wall yet has the ability to swivel and tilt in every direction. Don't worry about the weight of your tv this unit when installed properly will handle the job.

Installed mount with no problem and is holding up great

When I opened the box and saw the shiny black finish, I knew it would be perfect. Now would it hold up. During the remodel and prior to installation it sat outside in the weather with remodel lumber, drywall paint and nails uncovered and exposed. After 4 months I picked it up to install it. Wiped off the dirt, sawdust, drywall dust and spider webs, it was as shiny as the first day I saw it. Past that test. Next came the install it fit between the studs and the cover slipped cleanly over to hide lag screws, nice. I hung an 85 pound 65 inch flat screen on the mount. It didn't give, nice. I moved it frequently during set-up of the tv, the articulating arms are a must have. It moved smoothly and freely. Great product.

A solid, well designed product. Mounting in the wall between 2 studs makes for a very solid mount... necessary for a heavy and big TV unit. Easy to mount the TV (mine is 65" Panasonic plasma that weighs about 185 lbs with the required adapter). It took 3 of us to handle it carefully, but once the adapter is mounted to the TV back, it drops onto the wall mount... no need to be fumbling with screws or bolts. Once in place, fine adjust the angle and secure it easily while assistants simply balance it. Only glitch for me was that the mount description on the web site could be clearer for the need for an adapter for many TV's (if not most). The only thing I would change is I would like the arm to extend about 6" further out from the wall to reduce limitation of screen angle caused by the shorter arm... but then all that weight would be hanging that much further out too. An engineering trade off, I suppose. A well made, solid mount for a reasonable price. Easy to recommend.
