I bought this avo cutter because I was putting more raw, unprocessed foods in my diet. It works very well. Since it's a combo of rubber and plastic, it is very flexible. just squeeze the neck that bends the slicer to fit the shape of the fruit. This is a fun and funky kitchen tool. Ive used it for everything from scrambling eggs, dicing garlic, chopping onions, and grating nuts. I enjoy not having to plug in a device and being able to power the chop myself! I also like getting a little bit of a triceps workout while cooking. Think of this as a lawn mower pull starter. Id recommend this if you want an effective chopper and are willing to use some elbow grease to do the chopping. Bigger than I expected, but it does the job. Much easier than chopping the herbs with a knife. Bamboo bowl looks nice as well."
