I bought this table for a very small dining area near our kitchen. My husband & I are very pleased, it was easy to put together and looks great with 2 modern aluminium chairs we have. I was a little bit worried about the "unstable" table top condition mentioned on the reviews but decided to purchase it and there seems to be no problem at all with ours. Keep in mind, that when assembling, the aluminum cylinder has 2 small dents (one on top, the other at the bottom) which must feel "lock" when placing it around the fitted circle on the bottom base and the top base (there is a mini-bar that intersects it) otherwise, the table will be unstable, this detail is not stated in the instructions. Another thing, the table top is composed of 26 horizontal teak bars that are spaced approx. 1/8" from each other on a teak frame. The surface is smooth to the touch and has a natural finish. I bought this to match a teak table I had of the same design. The colors didn't match so I sanded both down a little and stained them Ebony to match my outdoor furniture. They both look great now. Using them as end tables. I made the mistake of using the old one as a plant stand but my sloppy watering eventually damaged the top. You can use this right out of the box indoors. But for outdoors I would recommend either oiling it down before use or another coat of stain. Nice table. Folds easily. Well made. Recommend."..."  Read more
