Patio & Backyard Tables

Ordered this table after looking around for a while for something that was easy to mix and match with other pieces. It's perfect for seating six very comfortably and it's quite sturdy so far. As another reviewer mentioned, it's very orange-y when you first open it up but it faded very subtly to a more neutral stain after a few weeks in the sun and rain. I actually bought a second one for our lower (pool) deck since it gives me the flexibility of putting both tables together for very large outdoor dining parties. The neutral style of the table also allowed me to match with wicker chairs on my upper deck and with heavy resin chairs on the lower deck. Or you could go with the matching chairs also sold by Wayfair, for more of a "set" look. I was not expecting such a nice, quality wooden table for the price I paid. We love that this table will fold when the cold winter months come or when the rain storms are here. We love the little wooden slats that make up the table top. We like the color and coziness of the table. It is just what we needed to eat dinner while enjoying these beautiful spring evenings at the same time. Two can eat at this table with full size dinner plates, glasses, etc and a citronella candle. The slate table arrived ahead of schedule and some assembly was required. There were four metal legs, a metal ring to tie the legs in together, 24 nuts/bolts and the top of the table. All the parts were accounted for, and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the assembly went. The table top, composed of five fitted sheets of various-toned, variegated slate, sits nice and level, and I'm quite confident that it will prove to be durable. Indeed, the table is a very handsome, well-designed, sturdy piece of furniture. Apparently, the metal parts of the table were treated with some kind of powder so the table can be used outdoors -- which is where it's presently located. I bought this table because I wanted an outdoor table. So teak was preferable. And I wanted as much table top space as possible. This little table has a top and bottom shelf. It was a snap to put together. It is very sturdy and it will last forever. Great value and great quality. You don't get those two things together very often."..."  Read more
