I have this umbrella on our west facing back patio and purchased it specifically for the tilt feature. The rotational tilt is great - simply turn the umbrella top clockwise to block the sun. Love the pulley feature - makes it easy to open and the brass at the bottom of the pole should extend the life of the umbrella in wet conditions. I chose the navy sunacrylic fabric and it seems like a quality fabric so far- great color and thickness. No need to pay extra for Sunbrella, I think. I'm using it with a 60 lb stand and it's very stable unless a high wind hits it while it's tilted then it's just like a sail and becomes unsteady, but that's to be expected. Can't give it 5 stars because I don't know how well it will wear yet, but it looks and performs wonderfully so far. I would recommend this umbrella."..."  Read more

The Pacific blue color is beautiful and adds color to our deck. I purchased 2 of the umbrellas for our deck to provide shade by the pool in different areas. We are very pleased with this umbrella. The fabric/pole colors we picked look even better than we had hoped. The material (Sunbrella) is thick, sheds water like the provebial duck's back, and provides the perfect amount of shade.
